Good Evening

Today is supposed to be my last class with Ms. C. Rather than having one day class, the student decided to go out for sightseeing. Fortunately, we still had a wonderful time together in spite of the terrible weather.
Our first dropped was in Intramuros, Manila. However, due to the heavy rain we weren’t able to get off the car. We turned around the entire place by car and just enjoyed looking at the Hispanic Era buildings.
Secondly, we went to the National Museum. We really had a great time to look around the Museum and to discuss many things. It’s not just the history of the Philippines that she learned but it also gives her chance to share things about Japanese history.
Lastly, we went to the Mall of Asia (MOA), one of the the famous malls in the Philippines. We ate our lunch in a Filipino Buffet restaurant (Cabalen). She enjoyed taking pictures of the Filipino dishes and trying to taste it. It’s really a great thing that she learned a lot through her experience.
She was also able to know some of the Filipino habits and traditions. After eating, we went to Hypermarket to buy Souvenirs.
Indeed, she enjoyed buying different Filipino delicacies and I also showed her some Filipino fruits and vegetables that she might not seen yet.
We talked spontaneously until her Sayonara party at night. I felt so happy that she had a great time and she’s willing to study again in the Philippines. One of the great things that I noticed is that her success in building her confidence in speaking English Naturally.

今日は（留学生の）Cさんとの最後のレッスンです。しかし、生徒様は、1日授業をするより、観光に出かけることを決められました。ひどい天気だったのですが、幸運にも素敵な時間を過ごせました。
私たちが最初に立ち寄った場所は、マニラのIntramuros（イントラムロス）でした。しかしながら、激しい雨のため、車を降りることができませんでした。私たちは車で全体を周り、ヒスパニック時代の建造物を見て楽しみました。
次に、私たちは国立博物館に行きました。博物館を見てまわり、様々なものについて話、とても良い時間を過ごせました。フィリピンの歴史について学ぶだけでなく彼女に日本の歴史に関係あることを共有する機会を与えてくれました。
最後に、私たちはフィリピンでもっとも有名なモールの一つであるMall of Asia（MOA）に行きました。私たちはフィリピンのビュッフェ レストラン（Cabalen）で昼食を取りました。彼女（Cさん）はフィリピン料理の写真を撮り、味わったりして楽しみました。彼女が経験を通してたくさんのことを学んだのは本当に素晴らしいことです。
彼女（Cさん）はいくつかのフィリピンの習慣と伝統も知ることもできました。食後、私たちはハイパーマーケットにお土産を買いに行きました。
彼女（Cさん）は確かにフィリピンの珍味を買うことを楽しんでいました。そして、私もまた、彼女がまだ見たことないであろうフィリピンの果物や野菜を見せました。
私たちは、夜の彼女（Cさん）のさよならパーティーまでのびのびと会話しました。私は、彼女がとても素晴らしい時間を過ごしたことと、もう一度フィリピンで勉強してくださるであろうことをとてもうれしく思いました。私が思う素敵なことの一つは、彼女が自然に英語を話すことに自信を持つことが出来たことです。
