Good Evening!

I had a class today with Mr. I. It was the very first time that I taught Japanese student that was why while I was on my way, I felt really nervous. But after we introduced ourselves to each other, I finally got comfortable around Mr. I. As he introduced himself, I found out that he likes to play basketball. He is also very kind and approachable and really willing to learn new things.
After that, we have already proceeded to our lessons. He was able to answer all the questions, express himself very well and we were also able to relate our topics in our daily lives. He also said that he wants to meet new people because he believes that he will also learn from them.
For our lunch today, they served us Afritada and he said that it was good. I also knew that his favorite Filipino food is Nilaga. While we were eating, we talked about a lot of things and also about the experiences he encountered before.
For a 1 day teaching experience, all I can say is that it was all worth it. Also, the place is very great for conducting classes. Overall, it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had.

今日私は（語学留学性の）Ｉさんとレッスンがありました。日本人の生徒様に教えることが初めてだったので、向かっている途中本当に緊張していました。しかし自己紹介後、緊張は解け、とても落ち着くことができました。自己紹介で、Ｉさんはバスケットボールが好きだと知りました。また、Ｉさんはとても親切で親しみやすく、意欲的に新しいことを学ばれる方でした。
自己紹介後、私たちはレッスンを始めました。Ｉさんは全ての質問に答えることができ、とても上手に自分の考えを表現することができました。また、（英会話レッスンの内容を）毎日の生活に関連付けて考えることもできました。Ｉさんは、新しいことを学ぶために、多くの人達と出会いたいともおっしゃいました。
今日の昼食には、（フィリピン料理の）Afritada（アフリターダ）が出され、Ｉさんもおいしいとおっしゃっていました。Iさんの好きなフィリピン料理はNilaga（ニラガ）だそうです。食事をしている間、Ｉさんの経験したことなど、様々なことについて話をしました。
今日の1日の（英語の）授業は、とても価値があったと思います。また、（語学学校の）宿舎は、レッスンを行うのにとても良い場所でした。今日一日は、私の中で最も素敵な経験の一つとなりました。
